Joseph Fazio, Jr. has served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company since 2005. Prior to joining Medical Waste Recovery, Joseph Fazio, Jr. served as Vice President of Pet Scans of America from 1999 to 2005. The Company provided hospitals and institutions with PET (Positron Emmission Tomography) mobile and fixed site service. Joseph Fazio, Jr. held a number of management and marketing positions and was directly responsible for overseeing 90 employees located in over 18 states nationwide, and the servicing, and scheduling of patient flow at more than 100 hospitals and imaging centers.

Since 1980 to 2005 Mr. Joseph Fazio was a major principle of a number of companies that provided diagnostic services to hospitals, and imaging centers throughout the United States. The modalities were CAT Scanning, MRI, Lithotripsy, and PET Scanning. During that period, the companies serviced over 350 hospitals nationwide. The primary service provided was Mobile Shared Service, allowing hospitals to share expensive equipment they could not otherwise afford, or make the economics work.
Mr. Fazio, along with his son Joseph Fazio, Jr. formed Medical Waste Recovery in 2005, a Company that utilizes an Alternative Technology, The PIWS 3000 system to process infectious waste (click on Process for details) for large and small generators. Mr. Fazio is a principle owner, Secretary, and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
